Introducing T.

I alluded in my last post that there’s a new someone in my life.  I met T. in mid-October and we’ve been together ever since then. I won’t lie and say that I didn’t have reservations since I did but I’ve since gotten over those hang-ups and I’m glad I did!

T (or Todd, which you’ll notice in a picture or two below) is 37, owns a painting company in metro Detroit, is into hiking/camping/fishing/hunting (I call him my Yooper wanna be) and has a heart of gold.  His style is vastly different than mine (clothing: Goodwill with lots of plaid, brown and green; house: 70s, Mid Century Modern, lots of brown) and our personalities cause us to butt heads occasionally, but he also grounds me, calls me out on my crap, fiercely loves me, makes me hot chocolate in the morning (which btw is the way to my heart) and makes me laugh.

Meet T, who does not love cats but loves my Sami. She is obsessed with him and will lie next to him rather than me anytime he’s at the house. I have some competition for his attention (and for hers!).

He buys me flowers, just because….

…and leaves me love notes to find in the morning.

Who knows…maybe this blog will have some wedding (!) and moving (!) posts in the future.
